I have spent my life developing skills to help others. I am a licensed mental health counselor with a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling. I specialize as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) through the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board. I am currently a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida, and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)in North Carolina. I have completed training through the Center for Journal Therapy as a Journal to the Self Instructor. Additionally, I am a Certified NLP Life Coach through the Academy of Leadership Coaching and NLP. I proudly served in The United States Navy. I am also a devoted wife and mother to three children.
I consider myself a life-long learner who is creative, introspective, curious, and compassionate. My professional background has equipped me with solid practical skills combined with a deep understanding of people's needs. I have worked with diverse populations struggling with substance use disorders and mental health issues including trauma and grief. I incorporate an eclectic approach, implement evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavioral methods, neuroscience, and holistic modalities such as integrative health, expressive arts including journaling, and life coaching strategies. I am ready to grow alongside you through a collaborative, holistic approach utilizing integrity, curiosity, dedication, and a strong desire to build a trusting, healing partnership.

Our Services are not appropriate for a mental health crisis
These are mental health crisis situations when you need immediate help:
- Experiencing hearing and seeing sensations that aren’t real and/or beliefs that can’t possibly be true
- Be actively suicidal (harm to yourself in an attempt to end your life) or homicidal (harm to others to severely injure and cause death)
- Becoming unable to care for yourself, and it’s putting you at risk of serious harm
- Experiencing medication problems like serious side effects
- Experiencing an alcohol or any other drug overdose
- Taking a dangerous combination of substances (like antianxiety medication and alcohol)
